The pattern comes with great step by step instructions with detailed pictures and technique explanations throughout, so you can learn as you sew. Sydney also has a great YouTube channel where she has very detailed video tutorials to guide you through the sewing process.

I have made this pattern in multiple variations. The pattern gives you the option for a dress with or without sleeves, as well as a top with the same sleeve variations. It really does allow you to make different items for all year round!

The fabric I have used here is from Fabric Godmother. This was a lobster printed, pink and red, viscose linen blend.

The fabric was , in my opinion, a great choice for a summer dress. It is light enough for the warm weather but still had a good amount of weight for a nice drape.

The composition of this fabric is 45% viscose / 55% linen.
