I absolutely love this jumpsuit pattern!
Before I start the ramble of why, I would point out that this isn’t a pattern for an absolute beginner. There is a lining to contend with as well as an invisible zip. I am nowhere near being a professional sewist but I was glad to have tackled invisible zips before attempting this pattern. I am a believer in ‘give it a try, what’s the worst that can happen’ but I would suggest having some prior knowledge may save your sanity with this one.
This pattern creates such a lovely jumpsuit. It is oversized and therefore super comfy. There is an additional tie for the waist so you can opt for a more figure hugging silhouette. I think its a great wardrobe staple as it can be dressed up or worn more casually.
I would just say that this is a pattern that doesn’t go up to my size. So ,although it is a great pattern and makes a beautiful garment the sizing isn’t as extensive as other patterns.
The fabric I used here is from Fabric Godmother. This is a cotton lawn, so really light weight and floaty, which was perfect for this jumpsuit. It is 100% cotton.
