Sewing Machine Servicing

We offer a sewing machine servicing through Sewing Machine World , based in Kings Lynn.

How it works -

  1. Bring your machine to the shop during opening hours and we’ll send it off. Pick ups for our machines are on a Wednesday’s, so make sure to get it to us before then. Please make sure you have included Feet, bobbins, power lead and foot pedal if you have them. We’ll give you a price estimate there and then.

  2. The service team will check over your machine and if they find something that will cost more than was quoted, they stop and call you. There is never any extra work that will surprise you afterwards.

  3. Machines come back to us on Wednesday’s, so when your machine is ready, we will call you to notify you.

What’s included?

  • Stripped down properly, and the lint and thread that has packed itself into the works removed

  • Cleaned and lubricated where it should be, and nowhere it should not

  • Tensions checked and set

  • Timing checked and adjusted

  • Feed, hook and needle bar inspected for wear

  • Sewn off on real fabric before it comes back to you, because a machine that runs nicely with no thread in it proves nothing
